America is an American folk rock band that originally consisted of Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek. The three members were barely out of their teens, when they became a musical sensation during 1972, scoring No. 1 hits and winning a Grammy for best new musical artist. Their recording success stretched throughout the 1970s; some of the band’s best known songs are “A Horse with No Name”, “Sister Golden Hair” (both of which reached No. 1)

I Land Vibe is the Top Caribbean Band in South Florida. They play Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Ska and other types of Dance music. We’ve been playing together for the last 13 years, and they have spent the last 10 years in the Florida Keys as the resident band at the most popular resorts in Islamorada. Their professionalism is unmatched on the SoFlo music scene, and they have pleased their audiences wherever they perform.

LUIS BOFILL Cuban singer born in La Habana, Cuba. After graduating from the Conservatorio de Canto and the Universidad de La Habana, he launched his career in the late 70’s during the Move de la Nueva Trova as a member of the “Cuba Nueva” a group that played traditional Cuban music. In 1981 he won a prestigious award as a solo artist in “Todo el mundo canta” a national TV program that lead him to give performances in theatres, clubs, TV programs and tour the country.

Clockwork Band • Friday, May 31st • 9PM
Clockwork began in the 70’s at The Castaways, Wreck Bar and Inner Circle Nightclubs. The wide variety of music they perform kept them working throughout the years at places such as Playboy Club and Forge and Disney World. Festivals and Concerts followed after their Hit song “Nostalgia” flooded the airwaves. To date the band continues to perform and is preparing a New CD release for 2013
